3.1 Lead
lap cars are not allowed to race back to the line unless there are 5 or
fewer laps remaining based on what the leader is showing on the F1 key
stats board and what your spotter has said. When caution comes out, you should start slowing based on
the car ahead and fall into line and hold your positions on the HIGH LINE
if on the lead lap. You may only pass another driver if that other driver
was involved in a wreck and is stopped or moving slowly. (-10)
3.1.1 Lapped cars can race back to the line if within
striking distance of the leader of the race. The leader of the race has
the choice to let a lapper(s) get lap back. Lapped cars must be within
3 to 4 seconds of the lead car and run the LOW LINE in a safe manner racing
back. Drivers should use common sense and keep
it safe. Only lapped cars within the noted striking distance. All other
lapped cars should fall in line with the lead lap cars in the high line
if not in striking distance. Lapped cars racing back that cause a wreck
will be penalized. (-50)
3.2 Any contact to another driver under yellow/pace
conditions will result in penalties. (-10)
3.3 If your car is crippled or un-drivable, you must
use (ESC Key) to call a tow truck to get your car off the track before
leaving the race. If you are stuck in the middle of the track and cannot
move the car (including the start of the race) warn the other drivers
of your position. Drivers that choose not to call for a tow with wheel damage will be required to get around to pit road in a safe manner out of the racing groove or preferred line(-15)
3.4 A driver who receives a message from his Spotter
to stay behind another driver, will move down toward the apron and slow
until the other driver involved passes, or the Spotter stops repeating
the message.
3.5 A driver can not sit on or around the track trying
to force a caution after a wreck. (-15)
3.6 When the yellow flag comes out the first driver 1 or more laps down will be given one of the laps back. The driver must alert the admin they are the lucky dog. On the second lap of caution the driver is required to pit to try and be at the back of the pack. On the restart the admin will add one lap to the lucky dog driver. The lucky dog will be given out even if the driver that is to receive it, brings out the yellow. The lucky dog pass will not be given when the caution comes out with 10 or fewer laps to go.
The MORL reserves the right to make adjustments to the rules as needed
to make this a better league to race in.
